A series of marketing campaigns generate consideration and awareness for an airline company

Raising awareness for the launch of a new direct route from Phnom Penh to Bangkok.


The Challenge:

Thai VietJet Air is a Thai low-cost airline and an associate company of Vietnamese airline, VietJet Air. Thai VietJet Air launched a new route to service traffic between Phnom Penh and Bangkok. The challenge was to create awareness and demand quickly to start selling tickets on this new route.


The Process:

MangoTango managed Thai VietJet Air’s virtual press conference, PR campaign and distribution, Out-Of-Home advertising, and KOL campaigns.

The Outcome:

We hosted their press conference via Zoom and organized outreach with digital media and TV stations, organized Out-Of-Home advertisements and television commercials, launched a Key Opinion Leader campaign, finding the best suited influencers to build awareness and interest.

The Result:

The multi-channel campaign was very successful in driving up ticket sales for this new route. The digital marketing campaigns received high engagement rates. Thai VietJet Air has now been able to reach a large audience and support tourism that helps the economies of both countries.
